How do I embed Slido event into a website?

It can be easy to engage with your audience onsite, especially if you’re using Slido. But things get a little tricky when you’re running a hybrid event and you want to get to your online audience as well.

Slido lets you connect with them so that they can post Questions and answer Polls during your live event by placing the Participant view directly on your website.

Before the setup

First, make sure your website supports the integration of iframe technology that allows you to insert content from a different source to your website.

Inserting Slido to your website

Now you can place Slido into your website by following these simple steps:

  1. Select the Participant view
  2. Unfold the Permanent link options
  3. Select Copy embed link
  4. Now you can place the embed code into HTML code of your website

Example of the embed link

<iframe src="https://app.sli.do/event/logslwhl" frameborder="0" height="100%" width="100%"></iframe>

You can resize the window height and width of the Participant view on your website by changing the aspect ratio.
