Use Slido with a QR code

There are two ways to give your participants the option to join the event instantly with a QR code. You can display it in Present mode, or download it and use it online and on your event materials. Your audience will simply scan the QR code with their phones to enter the event.

All events have this feature turned on by default.

💡 Available in all plans.

Display the QR code

Whether you're running a remote event or your audience is present in the room, showing questions, ideas, and poll results in Present mode is a great way to drive interaction. To have the joining instructions available anytime, both the QR code and event code are visible in Present mode.

To display Present mode:

  1. In your event, click the Present mode button
  2. Select Present in fullscreen
  3. Alternatively, you can Copy Present mode link and open it in a new tab

🚀Pro tip: Using QR code with company or event logo
If you uploaded a logo, the QR code will only be shown on the introduction screen in Present mode. When questions, polls, quizzes or ideas are displayed, the logo will replace the QR code on the left side.

To do so:

  1. In your event, go to Settings

  2. Select Share and copy the direct link
  3. Put the link into your QR code generator.
