Reply as admin to submitted questions

As an admin, you can reply to any question your participants submit via Slido. This way you can easily address questions that remain unanswered after the session or simply leave a message to a question that is not relevant for the discussion.

Reply to incoming questions

When the moderation is on, you can reply to unapproved questions. Such a reply will be private, so only the person who submitted the question can see the response.

  1. Open the three-dot menu 
  2. Click Private reply
  3. Type your reply and send it

💡 Private replies are visible only in Participant mode and only to the person who submitted the original question.


When you reply to someone's question, they'll receive a notification.  

🚀 Both the reply and the question remain visible to the participant who submitted it even when the question gets dismissed.

 

Reply to live questions

Replies to questions which are Live are visible to everyone on their devices. 

  1. Open the three-dot menu 
  2. Click Reply
  3. Type your reply and send it

💡 Replies to live questions are displayed only in Participant mode. They're visible to everyone.


When you reply to someone's question, they'll receive a notification. 

🚀 If a question gets archived, it will then remain visible (along with the reply) only to the person who submitted it.


Reply to unanswered questions

If you're not able to address all the submitted questions (whether live or incoming) during your event, you can post your replies using the Admin anytime after the Q&A. Afterwards, just send a link to your event to everyone so they can go through the comments.

  1. Reply to all outstanding questions
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Copy the event link and send it to your participants

⭐ We set a limit of 1,000 characters per response. We hope that's enough!
